I have had many rice cookers over the years and none performed as well as this. The digital control is accurate and allows for perfectly prepared rice each time. It is very easy to clean and the "steam run-off collector" is much more secure on this model than others I've used. This is a very good value in an appliance and I highly recommend it. Not enough packing peanuts either. I came from South Korea where the main meal always includes rice so I'm very picky of the quality of cooked rice, and so far I'm pretty content. Delay option is quite convenient.I've tried cooking white/brown rice mixture, with a little more water than I would for just white rice using white rice cook option; white rice turned out to be mushy but brown rice was good. I haven't tried brown rice option yet but only using the white rice option when cooking brown rice still gives me decent texture. So I'm afraid it'll be too mushy if I use brown rice option to cook brown rice. Put a little less water than instructed when cooking white rice. like 0.5~0.7 measuring cup less. For brown rice follow the instruction. And also when white rice is done, stir the rice around and let the steam out a little bit. It might feel a little wet at first but it... Read more |
